Our Mission
At "Unfiltered", our mission is to create a raw, honest, and judgment-free space where individuals break free from nicotine and reclaim control over their lives—one real conversation at a time. We exist to strip away the filters, the stigma, and the isolation that often surround addiction, replacing them with connection, accountability, and truth.

Testimonies From Participants and Families
"When my husband said that he was going to join a smoking cessation group, I was surprised but also just thought that it would be something he would try once and not attend again. Thankfully, I was wrong. Not only did he continue to attend each week, but he also became engaged and found a group of people (led by Dr A) that understood his struggles with quitting smoking and didn’t make him feel guilty about it. Instead, he found support, a new outlook, and a drive to challenge himself in ways that he hadn’t before. He quit smoking in June 2025, and our lives have changed in so many ways but most importantly, his health has improved. I am so proud of the work he has put into being a non-smoker, it has made him more present in our lives and that is priceless. I am forever thankful to the Unfiltered group for being such an integral part of my husband’s non-smoking journey and giving him back years on his life and moments with his family that we will cherish forever."

Unfiltered has been my rock as I work through my addiction to nicotine. The folks I've met have offered constant support while also holding me accountable. I quit once while in this group and I look forward to their continued support as I work to quit for the last time.

"James quit smoking on Friday, Dec 5, 2025. I remember this date because we were taking a road trip for the weekend to San Antonio for an exclusive wedding. Since Mike quit smoking, I don't hear him hacking as much in the bathroom. I don't find cig ashes in his truck or lingering cig smoke smell (very nasty). So far, I haven't found any cigs stashed / hidden away. Life for me seems calmer, more relaxed and focused. I no longer see my husband dying before my eyes. This makes me very happy and fulfilled as a wife / partner. Maybe we'll have a few more years together - God willing."
